๐Getting to MetLife Stadium
MetLife Stadium is in East Rutherford, New Jersey โ not Manhattan. NJ Transit runs special event trains from Penn Station to the Meadowlands Rail Line on match days. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Driving is possible but parking fills up fast, and post-match traffic is brutal. If you're coming from JFK or LGA, take the subway to Penn Station first, then the event train. From Newark (EWR), it's the closest airport โ a 20-minute Uber or NJ Transit connection.
๐ Where to Stay
Stay in Midtown Manhattan for the easiest access to Penn Station and the event trains. Times Square and Hell's Kitchen put you within walking distance. If you want something more relaxed, Hoboken and Jersey City are right across the river โ cheaper hotels, great views of the skyline, and PATH trains into the city. Downtown Newark is the budget option, closest to EWR airport and a quick train ride to the stadium.

New York doesn't need food recommendations โ it has everything. But for match-day energy, hit up a sports bar in Hell's Kitchen or Murray Hill before heading to the stadium. Dollar pizza slices are still a thing. For something memorable, try the food halls at Chelsea Market or Urbanspace. In Hoboken, the bar scene on Washington Street is perfect for pre-match drinks with other fans.

June and July in New York are hot and humid. Expect 28-33ยฐC (82-91ยฐF) with occasional thunderstorms. Bring sunscreen for outdoor tailgating. The stadium has no roof, so you'll be exposed to sun or rain. Pack a light rain jacket just in case.
